The 1 mm-thick walnut face veneer ensures firm and direct ball contact. You get clear feedback on where and how you hit the ball. Thanks to its five-ply solid wood construction, it retains more of that natural wood feel than a very stiff carbon blade.

The pace is clearly on the aggressive side. At the same time, the WALNUT SPEED handles very linear. To put it simply: The blade doesn’t suddenly make more of your stroke than you put into it. Especially with fast topspins and counter-topspins, this helps you gauge your own acceleration well and avoid unnecessary errors.

The trajectory is fairly flat. This lends itself to a direct, powerful style of play. When blocking and counterattacking, this allows you to control the ball with great precision and place it exactly where you want.

Even from mid-range and further back from the table, this blade has enough speed for fast topspin rallies. It has high spin potential and is definitely not a blade that should be reduced to just power and speed.
