The WALNUT SPEED is a tough guy that can become a points machine. The 1 mm thick walnut sawn veneer, which we use as the top veneer, ensures a very nice and at the same time hard touch. The hard walnut veneer provides very direct ball contact. At the same time, the ball flight curve remains flat and the sweet spot very large. For the WALNUT SPEED we use a thick Kiri core veneer with a thickness of 3.5 mm. This gives the wood a high level of rigidity and thus a lot of speed. The 1.0 mm thick intermediate veneers pass the ball impact point exactly on to the hand. Since the WALNUT SPEED is a 5-layer wood without synthetic fiber, it does not have the effect of insensitive hardness that carbon rackets often convey. With this table tennis blade, too, we have finely tuned the "residual flexibility" that makes a racket controllable. With the WALNUT SPEED you can play hard and fast topspin rallies from half distance and even far away from the table. The blade always remains nice and linear in its acceleration, so there are no surprises with any shots.
