The WALNUT not only looks good, it plays like that too. The thick walnut sawn veneer, which we use as the top veneer, creates a very nice feel when hitting the ball. The walnut veneer provides very direct ball contact. This wood is very precise in blocking and shooting. We use a Kiri core veneer with a medium thickness of 2.6 mm. Because the core veneer is only medium thick, the WALNUT remains "remainingly flexible" despite the harder outer veneers. This makes it very easy to control in many situations. The WALNUT is designed especially for very precise blocking and long backspin rallies close to the table. The balls do not bounce too high out of the wood, so you can easily get a grip on your opponent. The intermediate veneers are also made of Kiri and are 1 mm thick. This gives the wood even more feel, because the hard Kiri core transmits the ball impact point very precisely and ensures the necessary speed. The total thickness of the wood is 6.6mm. The combination of flexibility through the carefully selected construction and the harder top veneers generate a lot of spin. This means you can take important points from your opponent with precise topspin shots even from half distance.
