A fast and hard carbon blade for anyone who wants to apply pressure close to the table (OFF)
The SPEED OFFENSIVEis a stiff carbon blade with very clear and direct feedback. It plays hard, stiff, and responsive.
That's exactly what makes it interesting for players who prefer to decide for themselves what happens to the ball.
The SPEED OFFENSIVE is the right table tennis racket for you if you're looking for a carbon blade with the following features:
- A fast and stiff carbon-wood blade for offensive players
- very fast pace
- stiff and hard feeling
- hard ball bounce
- low bounce with a straight flight path
- Not easy to control, so not suitable for beginners
- low vibration
- a good balance
- significantly enlarged sweet spot
How to Play SPEED OFFENSIVE
For the SPEED OFFENSIVE, we used a hard Koto outer veneer with two layers of carbon directly underneath it. As a result, the blade vibrates very little upon ball contact. So instead of a soft, prolonged ball contact, you get a short and direct response without any vibrations.
At the block, this is especially clear: The ball leaves the racket quickly and immediately. If your racket angle is right, you can return your opponent’s speed very directly.
On the counterattack, the SPEED OFFENSIVE plays just as clearly. Short strokes are enough to generate a lot of speed. This suits players who move in close to the table and make early contact with the ball.
Even with the shooting, the stiff construction promotes a straight and direct ball flight.
The pace is very fast, making control all the more challenging. The SPEED OFFENSIVE does very little to correct your form — but it responds very immediately to your movements. Clean technique is clearly rewarded.
This blade will help you with that
Especially if you like to apply pressure early on and right away.
With an active block, you can use your opponent's speed without your paddle giving in too much on contact. In fast counterplay, you get an immediate response and can generate a lot of speed with short movements.
Players who prefer a crisp feel when making contact with the ball also don't have to spend time figuring out just how much the blade is flexing. The feel of the shot remains deliberately firm and distinct.
This makes the SPEED OFFENSIVE particularly appealing for a fast, direct attacking style of play close to the table.
Here's what you should look for before buying
- The stiff feel is intentional. If you like strong vibrations and a strong "wooden" feel, the SPEED OFFENSIVE will probably feel too stiff to you.
- The fast pace requires precise technique. That's why we don't recommend this blade for beginners.
- Spin isn't its main purpose. If you're looking for a carbon blade with particularly high spin, you should also check out the Z-CARBON or Z-CARBON SPEED.
Alternative SOULSPIN Blades
Z-CARBON: Go with the Z-CARBON if you want a fast carbon blade but prioritize better ball feel and higher spin potential.
Z-CARBON SPEED: Check out the Z-CARBON SPEED if speed is your top priority, but you’d like a bit more feel and spin compared to a very stiff carbon blade.

Trajectory of the SPEED OFFENSIVE
Table tennis rackets made with carbon fiber are characterized by a flat ball bounce and a straight flight path. The carbon weave dampens vibrations. This ensures that vibrations are barely noticeable, but it also makes the table tennis blade very stiff. If you like this hard and stiff feel, the SPEED OFFENSIVE is the perfect choice for you.
Balance
The SPEED OFFENSIVE has a very balanced weight distribution and feels quite light. Its center of gravity is relatively centered, so it doesn't feel top-heavy or handle-heavy.

❓FAQ - Häufige Fragen
I play almost exclusively with topspins that generate a lot of spin. Does that mean the SPEED OFFENSIVE is still a good choice?
Of course, you can also play topspins with this blade, but it’s important to note that there are blades better suited for that. With the SPEED OFFENSIVE, the focus is clearly on stiffness, directness, and quick response—not on maximum spin potential. If topspin and rotation define your game, the Z-CARBON, for example, is a much better choice. The SPEED OFFENSIVE is ideal if you attack the ball early and want to apply pressure with short, precise movements.
How does the feel of the game differ compared to other table tennis blades made with synthetic fibers?
The SPEED OFFENSIVE feels like a classic carbon blade: hard, stiff, and, as some say, a bit “dead.” It vibrates almost not at all, and you feel every hit very clearly. The ball does exactly what you put into it. Rackets with basalt fiber or Z-Carbon have more flex. They don’t feel rock-hard; instead, you get more of a “wooden feel,” and overall, they’re a bit more responsive. Neither is better or worse—it’s purely a matter of personal preference.
I mostly play close to the table and want to apply pressure more quickly. Is this blade suitable for that?
Yes. The SPEED OFFENSIVE is specifically designed for attacking play close to the table: blocking, counterattacks, shots, and fast, direct attacks are among its core strengths.

Reviews by other players
