We seal all SOULSPIN blades for you during the manufacturing process. Since the seal wears off over time, we recommend that you reseal your table tennis blade every 2–3 rubbers.
It's really easy:
PROTECT is a100% solvent-free sealant for table tennis bladesmade from natural hard wax oil that works in two stages.
The oil penetrates the wood and keeps the fibers elastic —the wax forms a protective layer on the leaf's surface that prevents wood fibers from being torn out.
Simply apply the sealant using the sponges provided and spread it evenly over your wood. Let it sit for a moment, then wipe off any excess sealant with a lint-free cloth. Now your wood is freshly sealed and well protected.
How often should you apply a protective coating to a table tennis racket?
The protective coating wears down over time and should bereplaced aftertwo to three times the flooring has been replaced. If you touch it up regularly, your wood will remain well protected for many years, and you won't have any problems with fibers coming loose.
